ProServe appoints GM

has been appointed general manager of ProServe Bermuda Ltd., the joint venture company formed by Butterfield's and the Bank of Bermuda.

ProServe was established by the two institutions to perform non-strategic functions such as document processing, and to help both parties improve efficiency and reduce costs.

ProServe chairman, Peter Le Noury, executive vice president of systems and operations with the Bank of Bermuda, said Mr. Finkbeiner's new position begins on April 1.

He said, "Mr. Finkbeiner's first job will be to produce a detailed business plan for the company and to implement the document processing project that the two banks have been working on.''
