Covid-19: Special talk for older people

The Bermuda Health Council is hold a virtual panel discussion this week on the health of seniors during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ricky Braithwaite, the chief executive of the Bermuda Health Council, and Kieran Walsh, the clinical director of the British Medical Journal’s BMJ Best Practice, will lead the talk on geriatric health and Covid-19.

The discussion will cover the development of scientific knowledge on Covid-19, how the virus affects seniors with pre-existing conditions, access to healthcare during the pandemic and the Covid-19 vaccine.

Viewers can also submit questions to the expert panel.

The event will be held on the Bermuda Health Council Facebook page at 12.30pm on Thursday.
