affiliate of Centre Re (Bermuda) and Zurich Insurance Company (Switzerland) in the North American market for brokered traditional property and casualty reinsurance, has announced the following appointments.

Mr. Jess D. McCavitt has become vice president, claims. Mr. McCavitt served as vice president and manager of the claims management division of NAC Reinsurance Corporation.

Ms Karen O'Connor Rubsam has joined ZRC as vice President and controller from the investment firm Paulsen, Dowling Securities, where she served as an insurance research analyst.

Prior to working at Paulsen, Ms O'Connor Rubsam was senior manager specialising in insurance at Coopers and Lybrand from 1988 to 1992.

From 1986 to 1988, she worked for NAC Reinsurance Corporation as Assistant Vice President and Audit Director.

Ms Elizabeth A. Richardson has become vice president, investor relations and corporate communications. Ms Richardson moved to ZRC from its parent company, Centre Re. As an assistant vice president, marketing, of Centre Re, her duties included producing Centre Re's award-winning annual reports.

Mr. Mark R. Sarlitto has been appointed vice president and general counsel.

Mr. Sarlitto joined ZRC from the law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher. Before joining that firm, he worked for Charter Security Life Insurance Company, where he served as vice president.
