A motorcyclist snatched a handbag from a woman as she climbed into her car.

Police say the thief drove up beside the victim as she returned to her vehicle outside Bank of Bermuda in Bermudiana Road, at about 10 p.m. on Saturday.

The rider then escaped north along Bermudiana Road.

He did not have his lights on and was wearing dark clothes and a grey helmet.
