Cruise ship workers robbed

Police spokeswoman Evelyn James Barnett said the two Celebrity Cruise Line employees were robbed at around 8.30 p.m. after being followed from the outskirts of Hamilton to Dockyard.

Near Cut Bridge on Ireland Island, one of the workers was cut off and approached by the two men on the bike. They claimed to be Police officers and demanded the worker hand over drugs and money.

When the worker asked to see identification, one of the culprits then withdrew a 12-inch knife and took the crewman's wallet, removing the cash.

When the second crewman returned to check on his mate, he was also robbed.

Mrs. James Barnett said the first suspect was brown skinned, five-foot seven-inches tall with reddish brown hair. He was wearing brown jeans and a black helmet and a earring.

The second suspect was dark-skinned, between five-foot-six and five-foot-seven inches tall and was wearing blue jeans, with a black jacket and helmet.
