The inquest into the death of a Prison Farm inmate set to continue yesterday was postponed until October 13.

Stephen Mansfield (Pepe) Dill was believed to have died from a severe asthma attack while at the Prison Farm in December, 2001.

The inquest had to be moved to October because defence lawyer Delroy Duncan was not in Bermuda due to a family emergency.

Dill, 41, was at the Prison Farm in Ferry Reach because he had been jailed for drug possession. He was due to leave the facility two months after he died. His family has claimed that prison guards at the farm had neglected his asthmatic conditions and had not called for medical help in enough time.

The case will continue in Magistrates' court before Coroner William Francis.
