The Healing Families Group has organised the event, which will be held at CedarBridge Academy on Saturday, March 27.

The aim of the forum, which also includes speakers from the US, is to allow various agencies, including government officials and substance abuse agencies to meet and discuss abuse-related issues and their impact on the family unit.

There will also be a chance to view booths set up by service providers from the community specifically addressing family and substance abuse.

Registration fees for the forum are $10 per person, $15 for a couple or $20 for a family.

Breakfast and light lunch will be provided along with childcare facilities.

Registration is at the Visitors Service Bureau on Thursday.
