Former long-time Bermuda resident Mrs. Mildred Lilian Woodward died on May 16 in Kent, UK at the age of 99.

Mrs. Woodward, or `Kate' as she was better known, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Gilligham, Kent.

Kate lived in Boaz Island during the 1940s and performed in "The Pirates of Penzance" in Dockyard during that time.Among her survivors are her daughter Joyce Jackson, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
