Westmore (Andy) Stoneham, 33, of 6 Middle Road, Southampton and Stacie Thomas, 25, of Newark, New Jersey, were not required to plead to the charges which are indictable.

They were both charged with conspiring with others to import cocaine and importing cocaine into the Island.

Stoneham was also charged with possessing cocaine in Hamilton Parish with intent to supply and Thomas was also charged with possessing cocaine in St.

George's with intent to supply. All the charges related to August 26 and August 27. Stoneham, a former powerboat racing champion, was represented by Mr. Tim Marshall.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis remanded Thomas in custody and released Stoneham on $10,000 bail and a surety.
