Dolphins clean up in Toronto
Bermuda swimmers have followed on from the Island's Carifta Games success with another medal haul at the Waterloo meet in Toronto.
The Dolphin Swim team claimed eight golds, 19 silvers and 22 bronzes at the meet, organised by the Rowe Swim Club, with Kaelan Robinson and Christian Parfit winning 22 medals between them.
They also set 13 new age-group national records and shattered two existing ones, according to a Dolphin spokesperson.
Mitchell Gariepy broke the record in the 9-10 boys' 200 metre freestyle and Tate Crofts in the girls' 100m breaststroke. Megan Lau won the 10 and under butterfly and set five records in the eight and under age group.
Madelyn Moore also set three age group records in the eight and under age group.
The 9-10 girls' freestyle relay team and the 9-10 boys' medley relay team both broke records.
Bermuda grabbed their biggest medal haul at the Carifta Swimming Championships in Aruba last month winning 12 medals.
