May 7, 2000: Man charged and released on bail after seriously sexually assaulting a woman at the Ducking Stool in Pembroke. A Supreme Court trial is expected to begin in February 2001.

May 25, 2000: Three men attack and rob pizza delivery woman in Happy Valley Lane, Pembroke. Three suspects have been charged with several offences, and the matter is now before the courts.

May 30, 2000: Woman in hospital after being attacked with a machete in her home in Glebe Road, Pembroke. A suspect is due to appear for trial in the Supreme Court in February.

June 4, 2000: A 15-year-old girl is allegedly sexually assualted at a house in Sears Hill, Smith's. A 17-year-old youth was arrested. Status: pending.

August 25, 2000: Woman in hospital after being pulled from her moped and robbed as she rode along Rural Hill in Paget. Matter investigated and filed as closed and undetected, pending further information.

August 29, 2000: Woman sexually assaulted and beaten in her home in East Avenue, Southampton. Man pleaded guilty in court. Suspect to appear for sentencing this month.

September 5, 2000: Woman undergoes operation in hospital after being attacked and robbed by man on moped on Railway Trail, Sandys, in broad daylight.

Suspect arrested and detained; later released through insufficient evidence.

September 10, 2000: A 27-year-old Sandys woman forced to stop while riding her bike along Middle Road in the early hours. He demanded money from her, searched her pockets, took her keys and then forced her to to take him to her home in Daiseyfield Drive, Somerset, for cash. He fled after people in the house awoke. Matter under investigation. One possible suspect interviewed.

Complainant was unable to furnish Police with a description. Case remains open pending further information.

September 13, 2000: A 19-year-old woman raped by two men in Curving Avenue, Pembroke, shortly after 5 a.m. Suspect arrested, but victim dropped her complaint, and requested no further action.

September 22, 2000: A 77-year-old man arrested after indecent assault on tourist at Sonesta Beach Hotel, Southampton. Victim reconsidered her initial decision to pursue prosecution, and wishes for culprit to be warned. Suspect was formally cuationed.

October 7, 2000: A Female visitor claimed she was raped by a man in her hotel room. St. George's man arrested. Suspect expected to be charged within the next few days.

October 10, 2000: A teenage woman kicked and raped on Railway Trail near Tribe Road Number Two, Southampton, in broad daylight at about 5.30 p.m.

Investigation continues.

October 11, 2000: A woman was robbed at knifepoint by two men as she waited for a friend at Parson's Road playground, Pembroke, at about 9.30 p.m. Matter investigated. Filed as unsolved pending further information.

October 14, 2000: A woman was seriously sexually assaulted near to Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness church in Middle Road, Southampton, at about 3.30 a.m.

after accepting a ride from him. Under investigation by Major Incident Room.

October 27, 2000: A 27-year-old St George's woman was raped in the vicinity of Red Coat Lane in the early hours by man who she had been talking to. Suspect expected to make court appearance in December.

November 4, 2000: A woman was raped and punched as she walked through St.

John's cemetery in Pembroke. Under investigation by Major Incident Room.

November 11, 2000: A 29-year-old woman was attacked outside her home on Riddells Bay Road, Southampton, during the early hours of the morning. Under investigation by Major Incident Room.
