Stephen Todd named first black Chamber president

The first black Bermudian president of the Chamber of Commerce has been appointed, with Stephen Todd taking over from former president Philip Barnett.
Mr. Todd, who is vice-president and retail business development manager at Butterfield Bank, officially took up the new post yesterday.
He will be the first black Bermudian to assume the role in the history of the leading local business organisation since it was founded 102 years ago.
