Queens Club shocked then-league leaders Swinging Doors I with a miracle finish that caused a recent reshuffling of the leader-board.

Doors overcame an early 30-point deficit to be in the lead by four points with two games remaining, but began to unravel as Queens' Greg Falzone produced a 10 run-out victory over Ivan Trott to make for an all-decisive final game.

Trevor Mouchette then stepped to the table to face top-rated Gary Bascome of Doors and promptly made an eight-ball break to seal the win 186-170, which allowed Robin Hood I to move into first place while dropping Doors to second.

Meanwhile, Vasco I were merciless in a 230-130 triumph over War Vets I where the former won 22 of 25 games as three players, Paul Doidge, Al Alves and Mike Zimmerman made 50's.

All five Hamilton Parish team-mates managed scores of 40 or better to lead them past Swinging Doors II 213-187.

Remaining matches saw Frog and Onions defeat a depleted Robin Hood II outfit 179-167, while Vasco III got by Mariners 193-179.
