Attorneys' Liability Assurance Society (Bermuda) Ltd. (ALAS).

Mr. Watson was senior partner at the local Price Waterhouse until 1995 before taking over the management of the global professional indemnity programme for the Price Waterhouse world firm.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda, Mr. Watson is also a member of the Ontario and Quebec institutes. Mr. Watson takes a wealth of expertise to ALAS. He has served on a number of company boards and committees, while acting as a panelist and speaker on auditing and accounting issues relating to the insurance industry on numerous occasions.

Mr. Watson succeeds Alexander H. Tully, senior vice president and treasurer, who is leaving ALAS to reside in Ireland, after 11 years with the firm.

ALAS, a mutual insurance company, was formed here in 1979.
