A charity quiz night will be held next Saturday in memory of Regiment Major Christian Wheddon.The funds will be used to establish an education trust for the benefit of his young daughter, Katherine Wheddon.Major Wheddon, 43, was killed in a road accident in Oxfordshire, England, on September 9 while en route to an assignment.The quiz night in his memory will be hosted by Mike Bishop at Docksiders on Front Street.The doors open at 7pm for dinner and drinks, and the quiz begins at 8pm.The entry fee is $50 for a team of five, and there will be prizes, raffles and an auction.A three-course dinner will be available for $25, of which $5 will be donated to the trust fund.In addition, there will be drink specials and $1 from each drink will also be donated.Register by visiting www.ptix.bm or e-mailing broadarrow1890@gmail.com
