School enrolment date set

Parents who wish to enrol their children at St. George's Preparatory school were yesterday advised to do so at the St. George's Community Center on Old Military Road between 9 am and 3.30 p.m. today, through Friday this week.

A Government Press release reminded parents to bring in a completed application form. "Since being forced to close its doors principal Mary Lodge has expressed her tremendous gratitude to all who have and continue to provide valuable assistance," the statement added. "It is expected that students and staff will be able to return to the school's permanent building by mid-February."

The school was badly damaged by hurricane Fabian last year.
