BSX hit new high

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange rose yesterday to a new all time high of 3,157.33 after Bank of Butterfield shares rose slightly on a quiet day of trading.
Bank of Butterfield shares went up 15 cents to close a $44.15, still shy of the all time high of $45.
Belco also made gains, rising 95 cents to close at $37,00, but this this was balanced out by BCS Investments Ltd. dropping $2 or 20 percent to $8.
The index closed up 7.88 or 0.25 percent at 3,157.33 on a volume of 5,710 worth 117,065.
