BSX Index edges up as Butterfield rises

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday gained 3.83 points to close at 3,239.73.Investors pushed up Butterfield Bank shares by 25 cents to $41.25 on trading of 105 shares.Bermuda Commercial Bank, meanwhile, saw shares fall $1 to $9 on trading of 2,300 shares.
