SAILING SLG Stevie Dickinson was the overall winner during the third comet race series for Ye Old Town Trophy, held in St. George's Harbour on Sunday.

Dickinson won all three races for a perfect two-and-one-quarter points. Howard Lee was second with nine points and David Wall and Bryan McCallan was third on 11 points.

Dickinson handled his boat superbly in south-westerly breezes with gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Veteran Lee placed second in two of the races.

The event served as a warm-up for Sunday's annual Flag Pole to Flag Pole race which will start in Hamilton at 11.30 a.m. and finish in St. George's.

Dwayne Adams was top batsman for Social Club with 52 while Leonard Gilks scored 40. Phillip Pitcher took three for four and Greg Minors had two for 11.

Phillip Pitcher led the eastenders in reply with 53, Sam Robinson was undefeated with 30. A.Francis took two for 26 and K.Bean had two for 55.
