Day care expansion approved

A Perimeter Lane, Pembroke, day care centre has been granted final planning approval to expand its facilities for up to 22 children.
The Development Applications Board (DAB) approved Joslyn Brimmer?s application to renovate and make additions to create a second dwelling unit and change the use of an existing home to expand her day care.
It said a building permit must first be issued prior to the commencement of construction.
?In order to safeguard the amenity of the neighbourhood, the hours of operation of the hereby approved development shall be restricted to 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.? it resolved.
And prior to the issuance of an occupancy certificate, Ms Brimmer must obtain a licence from the Department of Health.
