September 26, 2012Dear Sir,There’s a dangerous set of trees along South Shore Road across from Ariel Sands and near Brighton Hill Nursery’s sign. Not sure who’s responsible for cutting the Mexican Peppers that have covered almost all the sidewalk near the end but, this has become a safety hazard since people tend to speed along there. This area ought to be looked into. Another area, is Devon Springs Road, by the Pet Store. This hasn’t been repaired in a decade or more. Reinforcement rods and concrete blocks ought to work on such a stretch of road and add speed bumps to slow down traffic since some love going fast up and down hills (make the wall super high to avoid anyone falling over, leading to serious injuries or worse: death). Works & Engineering shouldn’t be ignoring this area especially as hardly any cars travel in that area now (so work can run smoothly without interruption). It might seem unsafe but have you ever actually seen this area now? If it makes no difference, wouldn’t it make more sense to block it in?DRIVERDevonshire
