Adil Saleh, a specialist in complimentary medicine, will be here at the invitation of the Bermuda Pharmaceutical Association in recognition of Pharmacy Awareness Week which runs from November 7 to 13.

While here he will address the National Conference of the International Year of the Older Persons on November 4; a public seminar entitled Complimentary Medicine For Your Good Health at City Hall on November 5 at 12.15 p.m.; and a professional development session for the pharmacy members of the Bermuda Pharmacy Association on November 7.

VEHICLE OVERTURNS AC Vehicle overturns A 45-year-old Pembroke man fell asleep at the wheel while out driving.

Police received a call at 9.45 p.m. on Tuesday that a single vehicle had overturned on Crow Lane.

The driver received serious chest injuries for which he was admitted to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

He has recently been admitted to a general ward and is in satisfactory condition.

TV THEFT ARREST MADE CRM TV theft arrest made Police officers have arrested a man in connection with the theft of a television from a Hamilton music store.

Two employees at the Music Box on Reid Street told officers that they saw a man acting suspiciously near the rear of the store at about 11.15 a.m. on Tuesday.

As the man left the store, the security alarm was activated and another customer in the store chased the man south on Parliament Street.

The man dropped a six-inch screen portable television during the chase, but briefly escaped before being arrested.

WOMAN HURT AT LAUNDRY CRM Woman hurt at laundry A woman sustained a minor cut and swelling to her upper lip after an altercation with an unknown male in a Hamilton laundromat on Tuesday.

The woman reported that at approximately 6 p.m. she was in the Quickie Lickie Laundromat in Pembroke where she voiced her concern over the fact that another woman was holding her granddaughter there.

A man who was with the other woman aggressively confronted the grandmother and punched her in the mouth.
