Actor Stephen Baldwin arrived on the Island last night to participate in the fifth Bermuda International Film Festival.

The youngest of the four Baldwin brothers, Stephen arrived with his wife and is expected to attend in BIFF's "Chat's With..." series of lunchtime seminars as well as the festival wrap party on Thursday.

Mr. Baldwin's extensive resume includes appearances in the double Oscar-winning film "The Usual Suspects", "Born on the Fourth of July", "The Flintstones: Viva Rock Vegas", "Friends and Lovers", "Fled" and "One Tough Cop".

More recently he completed two thrillers for speciality TV channel, HBO - "Absence of Good" and "X-Change".

Mr. Baldwin attended a cocktail reception at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute (BUEI) for the Ford Focus film "The Life" from director Rolando Hudson last night.

In other BIFF news, an additional screening of the British comedy "Reinventing Eddie" has been added for 9 this evening at the BUEI.

Technical problems disrupted the Sunday night screening of the film at Liberty Theatre but BIFF organisers said yesterday that tickets from Sunday will be honoured first at tonight's show.

There will also be tickets available at the door.

Festival organisers also made a last minute substitution to the jury panel.

Jag Mundra, who's film "Sandstorm" won last year's Audience Choice Award at BIFF, had to replaced on the jury following a foot injury.
