Unruly customer found with cannabis
A man who caused trouble at the Henry VIII restaurant was found with drugs when the Police turned up.
Styles Furbert, 28, is said to have been "a constant nuisance towards patrons" at the Southampton venue on September 10.
Senior Crown counsel Paula Tyndale told Magistrates' Court Police found him to smell strongly of alcohol and be incoherent when they spoke to him.
In addition, she said, his actions aroused their suspicions that he had drugs on him. A search revealed a plastic bag containing 16.98 grams of cannabis in the pocket of his pants. He pleaded: "Officer, give me a chance because I've already been caught with stuff like this."
Furbert, of Tommy Fox Road, St. David's, has previous convictions dating back to the age of 15. He pleaded guilty to cannabis possession during his court appearance and was fined $1,000.
