Police were called to a reported disturbance at the Henry VIII restaurant in Southampton in the early hours of yesterday.

According to a spokesman, officers found a large crowd when they arrived around 1.20 a.m.

They were told by a bystander that the instigators of the disturbance had left the scene.

Police remained until the crowd dispersed.
