The owner of Dunkley and Pioneer Dairies Ltd. said he is disappointed after an employee was at the centre of a drug bust on Friday after bringing in marijuana in the company's container shipment.

"I have no tolerance of drugs and I'm very disappointed especially when it is someone you had trusted," said the Shadow Minister of Health and Family Services.

Mr. Dunkley was off the Island when the incident occurred but when contacted by The Royal Gazette he said the drugs were not seized on the premises of the processing plant.

In February the United Bermuda Party was the first to start random drug testing its MPs and Mr. Dunkley was the first to be tested. "I'm not the type of person to say one line and live by another line," said the disappointed MP.

"It's just unfortunate that people think they can profit off of living off drugs and making the quick cash and thinking they won't get caught, it's just something that I won't tolerate.

"Some people think crime and drugs won't touch them but we have to live and learn from the mistakes that have been made."

The Bermuda Police Service would not comment last night as the investigation is still ongoing.
