The event, held between November 11 and 14, was the second Georgetown Blue & Gray Society Weekend in Bermuda and the group spent the four days at the Marriott Castle Harbour.

The programme included faculty seminars and social and sports activities such as dining at many Hamilton restaurants, a sunset cruise and a golf tournament.

The Blue & Gray Society honours donors who give $10,000 or more each year to the university, which is in the midst of a $750 million fund raising effort called the Third Century Campaign.

The programme kicked off with a party at Palm Grove, Devonshire -- the home of 1985 Georgetown graduates James and Judy Gibbons. There was also a speech from Tim Russert, host of NBC's Meet the Press.
