Former VSB anchorwoman and Fresh TV morning host Katy Brash has embarked on a colourful new career.

And she credits the big switch to, well, doodling.

Ms Brash was amazed at what she created one day while she was chatting on the phone.

Now her work has been sold at Harbour Nights.

She does individual pieces for clients and some of it can even be found at Frameworks.

She said the inspiration of colour comes from the Island and the rest is the ?bizarre stuff that goes through my head?.

Ms Brash is also doing Valentine?s Day cards and invitations.
