Bromby fourth in Bacardi Cup
Peter Bromby and crew Bill McNiven were in fourth place after two days of sailing at the prestigious Bacardi Cup Star Class Regatta off Key Biscayne, Florida.
The six-race regatta began on Sunday, with the duo registering finishes of fourth and seventh on day one and two respectively.
Bermuda?s top male sailor has not raced with McNiven for more than 20 years, with his usual partners Martin Siese and Lee White not making the trip on this occasion.
Racing with American Rick Peters last year, they were leading the regatta with two races to go, but his eighth place finish in the final race shifted his overall position back to third.
Bromby won the Cup back in 2003 alongside Siese.
With the event?s website only being updated the day after each race, it was not possible to establish their progress in yesterday?s racing by Press time.
