Breaking News: Man in hospital after shooting
A 24-year-old man was this morning in a stable condition in hospital after being shot.
The incident happened in the Court Street/Princess Street area of Pembroke at 1.15 a.m. today and Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A Police spokesman said: "Police responded to a confirmed firearm incident in the Court Street/Princess Street, Pembroke area. A 24-year-old Pembroke man was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. At last check he was in stable condition.
"An active investigation into this incident is underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information about this matter to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 299-8115 or the independent confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477."
