A 29-year-old man checked himself into hospital this afternoon after being shot in Pembroke, Police said today.
It is the second shooting in broad daylight in three days — on Monday, Princeton Burrows was shot outside the Maximart, in Sandys. He was in the intensive care unit at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, but has since been airlifted out of the Island for treatment.
This afternoon a Police spokesman said: A few minutes before 3 p.m. a 29-year-old Pembroke man checked himself into the hospital with a gun shot wound to his body. The injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
