FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22: A passenger on a flight into Bermuda was arrested yesterday after drugs were found in hand luggage.

A Police spokesman said: “An arriving passenger on a commercial flight was arrested at L. F. Wade International Airport after what is believed to be a quantity of controlled drugs was discovered in the passenger's hand luggage.

“The passenger is currently in Police custody. Investigations are being conducted by a joint H. M. Customs and Police team. A court appearance is anticipated early next week.”
