Investigations are continuing into an alleged theft of funds from Butterfield Bank, Police confirmed yesterday.understands three men were arrested by detectives probing reports that cash machine money had gone missing. A Police Service spokesman said the investigation ? soon to enter its second month ? was ongoing, but would not comment further. Sources said three men in a ?cash truck? were arrested in Dockyard last month, before being interviewed and released on bail by Police. One source said he believed the three men were bank workers. A Butterfield Bank spokeswoman, commenting on the Police inquiry last month, confirmed no customer accounts had been affected.
