BA cuts fares from Britain
Another incentive to increase the number of UK visitors to Bermuda has been made by British Airways, with round-trip fares on selected dates between this November and next August being offered for as little as ?399 ($750).
Round-trip fares from London to Bermuda are on offer at the low price on selected dates between November 1 and August 15 next year.
Customers are also able to upgrade to World Class Plus standard for an extra ?170 ($320). The fare prices include all taxes and charges but and are subject to availability and the tickets must be booked in the UK by midnight next Tuesday, September 26.
?It?s important to remember that this offer applies for travel originating in the UK. This is a great deal for all your friends and family in the UK so call and let them know that Bermuda is on sale,? said Marianne Wilcox, British Airways customer services manager.
The latest cheap seat deal comes only six months after BA extended its London-Bermuda route to a seven day a week daily service. During the winter months, between October 29 and March 22, there will be five flights a week, which represents an increase of 25 percent on the number of winter flights compared with last year.

A mechanical problem with a British Airways passenger plane caused the cancellation of the Tuesday flight from London Gatwick and the Bermuda to London return service.
As a result, passengers booked to fly back to Gatwick were re-booked on last night?s flight or given the option of taking a re-routed service via New York.
There were 30 people who took the re-route option on Wednesday, while the remaining displaced passengers were able to take BA?s service yesterday which was filled to capacity.
A BA spokeswoman said the incoming flights from London this week had experienced strong headwinds as a result of the path of Hurricane Gordon as it crossed the North Atlantic resulting in the plane arriving slightly late.
