Shirt design a perfect fit for End-to-End
Graphic artist John Elsegood won out with his T-shirt design as the image of this year's End-To End event.
The six charities to benefit from this year's walk are: The Bermuda Stroke & Family Support Association, Open Airways, the Sunshine League, Age Concern, Crime Stoppers and Bermuda Riding for the Disabled.
The announcements were made a press luncheon this week where sponsors were also on hand to announce their participation.
Premier sponsors are the Bank of Bermuda Foundation and Mobility Ltd. while Bermuda Aviation Services, Ernst & Young, First Atlantic Commerce, Island Advertising Specialities, Lindo's Markets and QuoVadis signed on as principal sponsors.
The End-to End walk has become one of the biggest charity fundraisers on the Island. Last year $170,000 was collected and divided among the six recipients.
This year's walk is slated for Saturday, May 7 and new events to coincide on the day include relay diving, rowing by the Bermuda Rowing Club, and an early morning ride by The Hunt Club.
