Carlos Ottley returned to his three bedroom apartment on Old Maid's Lane to find that his belongings had been removed and placed outside.

Since his eviction he has had to move his wife and four children aged one, two, four and eight in with relatives.

At the centre of the dispute is whether the landlord Anna Goiva was correct to evict Mr. Ottley and his family.

Mrs. Goiva could not be reached for comment yesterday.
