Breaking News: Armed burglars scared off by homeowners
Homeowners confronted intruders brandishing a bladed article in two separate break-ins this morning.
No-one was injured in either incident and the would-be culprits left empty handed after they were frightened off by the residents.
The first break-in occurred at a Mount Langton Crescent, Pembroke home around 2.55am.
Police described the suspect as a black man, approximately 5ft 8in and of slim build. He is believed to be approximately 18 to 20 years old and has short hair and a moustache.
The second break-in occurred around 5.25am at a Friswells Road, Devonshire home.
Police described that suspect as light-skinned, approximately 5ft 9in. He was wearing a light-coloured tracksuit at the time.
A separate incident saw a Mount Hill, Pembroke home broken into around 11.45pm last night.
According to Police the homeowner also confronted the culprit, who then left the premises empty-handed.
The suspect was described as a light-skinned man, approximately 5ft 9in. He was said to be bald and wearing a grey hooded top and dark coloured clothing.
Police are investigating all three incidents.
