Three charged with assaulting police at murder scene

Three people arrested for violently resisting police at the scene of yesterday’s murder have appeared in Magistrates' Court.Kione Minors, 31, was charged with obstruction, assault and violently resisting police, which he denied. Tiffany Glasford, 31, denied assaulting police and Shakeda Outerbridge, 24, denied violently resisting arrest.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner heard Mr Minors allegedly became agitated when he could not get to his car, parked behind the tape of a crime scene.He was accused of telling police to "go the f--- home" and saying he was being held hostage.Mr Warner set a trial date for tomorrow for Mr Minors, offering bail of $2,000.Ms Glasford denied two counts of obstruction and two of assaulting police, and Ms Outerbridge pleaded not guilty to obstruction, threatening words and offensive words.Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Cindy Clarke offered to combine their trial date with Mr Minors'. Ms Clarke said there was no allegation the three had acted in concert.Ms Outerbridge was accused of telling officers "f--- you police" and "wait till I see you off duty".Ms Glasford and Ms Outerbridge were given bail of $2,000 and ordered to return to court on July 16.All have been in custody since the incident at Bailey's Bay Cricket Club.
