The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index rose 22.20 points to 3,349.03 yesterday on the strength of the its only sale, some 334 Bank of Butterfield shares changing hands.

The bank's shares closed at its 52-week high of $42.50 ? a rise of 50 cents on the day.
