They are: the Contributory Pensions (Amendment of Contributions and Benefits) Order 1995; Statistics of Employment Regulations 1995 and the Municipalities Amendment Validation Act 1995.
The others are: Limited Partnership Amendment Act 1995 and the Bermuda Immigration and Protection Amendment Act 1995.
CYCLE THEFTS TOTAL 19 FOR ONE DAY CRM Cycle thefts total 19 for one day Police received reports of 19 stolen cycles in one day.
And yesterday Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning urged cycle riders to secure their cycles everytime they leave them, "whether at home or whilst parked in town''.
"It is evident that some cycle riders still do not lock their cycles,'' he said. "Others use only handlebar locks while their secondary locks remain attached to the basket.
"In order to reduce the number of cycle thefts it is imperative that cycles are securely locked everytime they are left.'' P.c. Venning said parents can also help during the school summer break by ensuring that their children are properly supervised.
ESTRANGED SPOUSE WRECKED HOUSE CTS Estranged spouse wrecked house A Hamilton Parish man was this week fined $300 for wrecking his estranged wife's house.
Gilbert Hill, of Twin Lanes, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to the charge.
Prosecutor Sgt. Rex Osborne said Hill went the residence of his estranged wife on the evening of February 22 this year to see his seven-year-old son.
Hill had been drinking, Sgt. Osborne said, and an argument between Hill and his wife broke out.
When Hill's wife tried to call the Police, he damaged the telephone cord. Hill also broke a window and snapped a cable on the side of the house causing $200 in damages.
Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis ordered that $200 of Hill's $300 fine be paid to his wife for compensation.
SHIP DIVERTS FOR SICK CREWMAN HOS Ship diverts for sick crewman The Liberian-registered vessel Marine Ranger diverted to Bermuda yesterday morning to land a crewman suffering from what was believed to be multiple fractures.
The Filipino national fell from a deck on the ship.
The ship, which was on its way from the US to Brazil, stopped at Five Fathom Hole where the crewman was picked up by the rescue vessel St. David . He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
PUNT THIEF CAUGHT IN ACT CRM Punt thief caught in act The owner of an eight-foot punt caught a boy trying to remove it from its moorings on Wednesday.
Police said the 14-year-old boy from Hamilton Parish was seen trying to start the engine of the punt which was moored near Rocky Lane West in Hamilton.
The punt's owner detained the boy until Police arrived.
Inquiries into the incident were continuing.
OFFICER INJURED AC Officer injured A Police officer suffered abrasions after a cement truck reversed into his private cycle.
The two vehicles were waiting to come out of a side road onto Middle Road in Southampton on Wednesday afternoon when the accident occurred.
A Police spokesman said the officer was unable to move his cycle in time to prevent the accident. His cycle was slightly damaged.
Police later arrested the truck driver on suspicion of impaired driving.
SOLDIERS TRAIN MIL Soldiers train The Bermuda Regiment will be conducting routine exercises between Warwick Camp and the Naval Annex in Southampton today.
The exercises will take place between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.
