Bermuda Track and Field Association president Donna Watson has heaped praise on sprinter Tre Houston for his impressive performances at the Commonwealth Games in India.

Houston ran a personal best time of 10.45 seconds in the quarter-finals of the 100 metres in the Delhi last week.

He also reached in the semis of the 200m, finishing sixth with a time of 21.25.

Watson said: “I think Tre performed well in the 100m and 200m especially with this being one of his first international senior events. Surprisingly he ran his PB in the 100m and not the 200m which is his specialty.”
