The Metaphysical Bookshop was forcibly entered overnight on Saturday.

Intruders ransacked the shelves and got away with an undisclosed amount of items.

An Astwood Close, Pembroke resident was twice a loser on Sunday when a thief broke into her home and stole cash, before making off with her car.

Using an insecure window, the thief searched a bedroom and took an envelope containing cash. He then moved to another room where more cash and the woman's car keys were taken.

The break-in occurred between 3 a.m. and 11 a.m.

A boat moored in Bailey's Bay has been broken into sometime during the last two weeks but while the interior has been completely ransacked, it is not known if anything was stolen.

Central CID are investigating a break-in in which a woman was awakened at 4.30 a.m. yesterday to find a man standing in a hallway. The Shelton Road, Devonshire woman reports that nothing was taken before she awoke and screamed at the man who escaped through a window.

The culprit had his face covered by a helmet or hood.
