New location for banking school
the Bermuda College's Stonington Campus.
The move, which will take place in June, will seal a partnership that will allow the bank to extend its initiative in training staff to international standards.
It also comes as part of a programme being mounted by the College to enhance its reputation as an international training centre.
Vice president of Academic and Student Affairs at the college, Donald Peters said: "We are delighted to have found common ground with The Bank of Bermuda in our mission to satisfy the education needs of Bermudians.
"The College is in the process of establishing other partnerships with a range of local and international institutions based in Bermuda, and we expect to make a series of announcements in due course as our new partnerships are formed.'' The bank's senior vice president of Human Resources, Mark Perreault, said: "With the Bermuda College's commitment to the development and training of the Bermudian business community, we felt this was an excellent opportunity to partner our training programmes with theirs.''
