Gas prices jumped by 1.2 cents a litre and diesel prices went up by 0.2 cents per litre yesterday.

The latest rise means gas prices are now 15 percent higher than in December 2001.

The maximum retail price for gasoline will be 137.40 cents per litre while for diesel it will be 116 cents per litre.

However kerosene prices dropped by 0.2 cents per litre to a maximum of 91.5 cents a litre acting The Minister of Finance Randy Horton announced yesterday.
