Smith, Mundy return to court

Justis Raham Smith, 17, of Deepdale Road East, is charged with the premeditated murder of the 17-year-old Belleville, Ontario, girl.
Kirk Orlando Mundy, 21, a Jamaican national of Brunswick Street, Pembroke, is charged with being an accessory after the fact.
Smith, represented by lawyer Archie Warner, and Mundy, represented by Mark Pettingill, were both remanded into custody to reappear before Magistrates' Court on August 22. Leighton Rochester appeared for the Crown.
Ms Middleton was staying on the Island with Jasmine Meens, whose father Rick Meens, attended the court hearing yesterday.
Ms Middleton's body was discovered on Ferry Road in the early hours of Wednesday, July 3. She had been stabbed.
