Bermudians urged to take to the skies -- for a career
Flying the friendly skies should be a lot easier for Bermudians who register for flight training at the Guelph Airpark Aviation School.
Aviation International has been operational since 1987 and is located in Guelph, Ontario, just 35 miles outside of Toronto, Canada.
Yogi Datt, the Marketing Executive for Aviation International is now looking to train Bermudians to fly.
"We have come here basically to train people to become pilots,'' he said.
"You'll be saving almost 50 percent in cost due to low Canadian dollar value.
"We are committed to providing safe, friendly, professional instruction and maintaining high standards in all we do.'' Forty-five hours of flight training, 40 hours of ground school and an aviation medical examination is all a person needs to get started training for a private pilot's licence.
Some $15,000 US will complete your flight training from beginning to when you receive your pilot's license. Mr. Datt is currently staying on the Island is and can be contacted at the Grotto Bay Hotel at 293-8333 ext. 231 for brochures or you can contact Aviation International directly.
