Airline to offer cutprice New York fare

Between February 1 and March 31, passengers will be able to buy round trip tickets to the Big Apple for $198 plus taxes.

Between February 1 and March 31, passengers will be able to buy round trip tickets to the Big Apple for $198 plus taxes.

Passengers must stay for a minimum of three days and a maximum of 30 days, and tickets are non-refundable.

The airline also announced the return of its midday flight to New York in addition to its continuous daily service.

Effective March 28, American flight AA686 will depart from JFK daily at 9.30 a.m., arriving in Bermuda at 12.30 p.m. The return flight, AA415, will leave Bermuda at 1.35 p.m. and arrive in New York at 2.45 p.m.

And beginning on April 4, American will reinstate its seasonal Raleigh/Durham service with flight AA1309 leaving at 10.25 a.m. and arriving in Bermuda at 1.45 daily. Flight AA1312 will leave Bermuda at 5 p.m., arriving at RDU at 6.20 p.m.

As part of the airline's continuous daily service, flight AA1443 will depart Bermuda at 7 a.m., arriving at JFK airport in New York at 8.20 a.m. It will depart from New York as flight AA1444 at 6.20 p.m., arriving in Bermuda at 9.40 p.m.

"Our JFK flights offer daily connecting services to the continental United States, South America and Europe including Manchester, London Heathrow, Paris, Brussels and Zurich,'' an airline spokesperson said.
