An employee of White & Sons allegedly stole all the kit needed for a perfect party.

Michael Giovinazzo pleaded not guilty to stealing a small inflatable boat, BBQ, folding chairs, sodas, sausages and alcohol on October 13 from the White & Sons' Southside Supermarket.

"It's all a big misunderstanding," Giovinazzo told Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner yesterday at Magistrates' Court.

When asked if he still worked at the supermarket Giovinazzo said: "I am not really sure, I'll have to go sort this out. I've never been in trouble with the law before."

He elected to have his case heard in the lower court and was released on $2,000 bail, with one surety.

The 55-year-old man from Chaple of East Lane in St. David's will appear in court again on February 13.
