Belinda Reid, of Hill Crescent, Pembroke, pleaded guilty to stealing $21 from the lingerie department in Gibbon's Company where she was employed as a sales lady.

Mr. Warner said: "It's a pity that this has happened. This is a relatively small amount of money but it's a serious offence.'' Mr. Warner ordered a social inquiry report, scheduling her to be sentenced on April 6.
