A man was arrested last weekend after he allegedly claimed to be a Police officer and sexually harassed a woman.

A Police report said that a 42-year-old complainant said she was travelling along Reid Street around 12.10 a.m. last Saturday, when she noticed car lights flashing behind her, signalling for her to stop.

When she pulled over, the driver of the car behind her got out and identified himself as a Police officer and said that he would give her a ticket for not stopping at a stop sign.

However, he said he did not do so because he said she was “a fine black woman”, Police said.

Eventually he told her she could go, however the woman took the licence number of his vehicle and he was subsequently arrested.
